Happy Hour

Happy Hour is an informal discussion and social group which usually meets upstairs in The Carpenters Arms, 12 Seymour Place W1H 7NE, a short walk from Marble Arch tube station on the 1st Wednesday of every month (excluding August) 6.30pm -8.30pm. Each session starts with a discussion topic, usually introduced by one of those attending but occasionally we have outside speakers. We all contribute to the cost of some shared bottles of wine etc. The sessions are advertised in the weekly newsletter/intimations and the programme planned for autumn 2023 is listed below. All welcome, just turn up on the night. More information available via the church office.

Wednesday 4 October 2023 The Carpenters Arms 6.30pm

‘Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us ‘(Hebrews 12) . Also with reference to the biography of Eric Liddell by Duncan Hamilton, For the Glory.

Note: In light of the anticipated widespread disruption from Wednesday’s tube strike we have decided to CANCEL the Happy Hour session that evening. The topic will be carried over to the November session on 1 November.
