Room Hire
St Columba's Church is happy to make available for hire its excellent facilities for a wide range
of educational, charitable, cultural and institutional activities. Because of the sacred
purpose of the building, wedding receptions, parties, discos and the like are not deemed appropriate.

There are three different facilities available for hire at reasonable rates.
The Main Hall
At lower ground floor level this bright and spacious hall (circa 304 sq. metres) can seat 250
and is suitable for formal meetings, AGMs, Conferences, Recitals
(with the permission of the Minister the Church Sanctuary may also be reserved for appropriate
musical recitals) and Dinners. It has a large stage
area at the east end and an adjoining fully equipped kitchen for easy catering.

The Upper Hall
This attractive room of circa 100 sq. metres is at entrance floor level. It may be divided into two
by means of a moveable partition and is suitable for small gatherings of 60. A small kitchen with
a serving hatch into the hall adjoins the hall and is suitable for preparing simple hot and cold food.

Committee Room
At entrance floor level this room of circa 40 sq. metres is suitable for small meetings and
has seating for 30. The ground floor kitchen may also be reserved in conjunction with this room.
